Lata Mangeshkar drops 91st b' day festivities due to COVID

 


Song sovereign Lata Mangeshkar has dropped her birthday festivities taking into account the continuous Covid-19 pandemic. Mangeshkar, whose endless tunes have combined India into a strong social account, will turn 91 on Monday. 


"Latadidi is profoundly tormented by reports of losses following the Covid-19 pandemic. She revealed to us this was not the ideal opportunity for festivity. She needs to petition God for the individuals who lost their lives in the pandemic," said essayist Rachana Shah, Mangeshkar's niece, on Sunday. Mangeshkar will go through the day with her relatives and have basic lunch, Shah said.
