Hotshot Akshay Kumar's greatly anticipated activity highlight 'Sooryavanshi' won't be delivering on Diwali, Reliance Entertainment Group CEO Sibashish Sarkar said on Thursday. The studio had declared in June this year that the film will hit the venues on Diwali, while their another delivery Ranveer Singh's '83' will show up on Christmas.
In spite of the fact that the venues are as yet closed the nation over, they are required to return from October 15 after the Union Home Ministry allowed films and multiplexes to continue activities with up to 50 percent of their seating limit.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will be giving a standard working technique (SOP) for films soon.
Sarkar is content with the administration's choice however he is as yet uncertain whether all the venues will be operational by October 15.
Given the vulnerability, Sarkar said it isn't essentially conceivable to deliver 'Sooryavanshi' on Diwali.
"One thing is clear, we are not delivering any film on Diwali. No other choice has been taken. It is unimaginable to expect to deliver a film on Diwali now. Starting now, all film houses are not opening from October 15. Regardless of whether it opens on November 1, how might you discharge a film in a 10 or 15 days notice period?" he told.
He said the creators are yet to accept an approach to the new delivery date of the Rohit Shetty-coordinated film.
"We are uncertain about whether we will change both 'Sooryavanshi' or '83' or we will simply move one film. It is certainly clear December to March is an ideal opportunity (to deliver films), this is the practical timetable," he included.
'Sooryavanshi', coordinated by Rohit Shetty, was initially planned to deliver on March 24 and Kabir Khan-helmed '83' was set to hit the film houses on April 10.
Be that as it may, both the motion pictures were uncertainly deferred due to the COVID pandemic, which prompted theaters to closure the nation over and in different pieces of the world.
'Sooryavanshi' is the third film in Shetty's cop universe after Ajay Devgn's 'Singham' and Ranveer-starrer 'Simmba'.
