Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Sooryavanshi' not delivering on Diwali


Hotshot Akshay Kumar's greatly anticipated activity highlight 'Sooryavanshi' won't be delivering on Diwali, Reliance Entertainment Group CEO Sibashish Sarkar said on Thursday. The studio had declared in June this year that the film will hit the venues on Diwali, while their another delivery Ranveer Singh's '83' will show up on Christmas.

He said the creators are yet to accept an approach to the new delivery date of the Rohit Shetty-coordinated film. 


"We are uncertain about whether we will change both 'Sooryavanshi' or '83' or we will simply move one film. It is certainly clear December to March is an ideal opportunity (to deliver films), this is the practical timetable," he included. 


'Sooryavanshi', coordinated by Rohit Shetty, was initially planned to deliver on March 24 and Kabir Khan-helmed '83' was set to hit the film houses on April 10. 


Be that as it may, both the motion pictures were uncertainly deferred due to the COVID pandemic, which prompted theaters to closure the nation over and in different pieces of the world. 


'Sooryavanshi' is the third film in Shetty's cop universe after Ajay Devgn's 'Singham' and Ranveer-starrer 'Simmba'.
